The Only Party Spot Where the Birthday Comes With a Beach
Homestead Bayfront Park is the one place in South Miami-Dade where your kid's party comes with a sandy beach, a swimmable atoll pool, and a marina full of boats to watch — all at 9698 SW 328th St, Homestead, FL 33033, right next door to Biscayne National Park. It's a Miami-Dade County park (don't confuse it with the City of Homestead's parks — reservations go through the county), and it's been the Saturday spot for Homestead families for generations.
Here's what makes it different from every other park on our list: the entertainment is built in. The atoll pool — a protected saltwater lagoon that fills with the tide — is open sunrise to sunset every day, the beach has lifeguard stands (one painted by Romero Britto, find it for the birthday photos), and when the kids get hungry there's La Playa Grill right inside the park. Here's how to put a party together there in 2026.
The Park at a Glance
- Where: 9698 SW 328th St, Homestead, FL 33033 — east on SW 328th until the road ends at Biscayne Bay
- Entry fee (budget for it): $5 per car on weekdays, $7 on weekends and holidays — every guest car pays at the gate, so tell your invitees
- Picnic pavilions with barbecue grills and tables near the beach — reserve in advance; on party weekends they go fast
- Atoll pool open sunrise to sunset, seven days a week — shallow, protected, and perfect for younger swimmers
- Park office open every day, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., even Sundays — rare for a county park
- Also inside: Herbert Hoover Marina, a fishing pier, and La Playa Grill for a seafood lunch with bay views
Step 1: Reserve Your Pavilion With Miami-Dade Parks
Bayfront is a county park, so the pavilion is reserved through Miami-Dade Parks — not through the City of Homestead, and not through any rental company:
- Reserve through the county's ParkLink system at miamidadeparks.com, or call Miami-Dade Parks at 305-755-7800 (the park itself answers at 305-230-3033, seven days a week).
- The county asks for at least one week of notice, but beach pavilions on a Saturday disappear well before that — book as early as you can.
- Pavilion fees vary by pavilion and date; the county confirms the rate when you book.
- Tell the office you're bringing a bounce house when you reserve, and write down your pavilion number — your vendors will need it.

Step 2: How the Party Gets Set Up
Miami-Dade parks only admit registered party vendors — companies on the county's approved list with paperwork and insurance filed. House Of Party Rentals is on that list, the same as we are for Larry & Penny Thompson and the county's other party parks — and Bayfront is home turf for us: weekday delivery here is FREE — we're Homestead locals, minutes from the gate — and weekends run the standard $100 Miami-Dade parks rate.
Two things every first-timer should know:
- The bounce house runs on our quieter inverter generator ($75). In Miami-Dade parks the inflatable always runs on the vendor's generator — it's a park requirement — and ours is an inverter model that hums instead of roars, so it won't compete with the waves or your music. It arrives fueled for 6+ hours and also powers your snow cone machine.
- Plan on dry inflatables. Miami-Dade parks and water setups don't mix — the county's beach rules already ban floating devices in the swimming areas, and in our experience water equipment isn't allowed at county parks. Confirm directly with the park when you reserve if you have any doubt. The good news: this is the one park where you won't miss a water slide, because the atoll pool and the beach ARE the water attraction.
One more: glass and foam containers are banned park-wide, and a canopy tent of 10 x 12 feet or larger needs the county's Short Term Event permit — ask when you reserve.
What to Set Up by the Beach
For a pavilion party here, these are the setups that work:
- Colorful Combo Castle Two Slides ($190) — bounce area plus double dry slide; kids rotate between the inflatable and the atoll pool all afternoon (there's a pink princess version at the same price)
- Primary Castle Bounce House ($125) — the compact 13 x 13 castle for tighter pavilion lawns and the under-8 crowd
- Compare sizes in the full bounce house catalog before you decide
FAQ: Homestead Bayfront Parties
How much does it cost to get in? $5 per car on weekdays, $7 on weekends and holidays ($15 for a bus or RV). Every car pays at the gate, so mention it on the invitation.
Are bounce houses allowed at Homestead Bayfront Park? Yes — from vendors on Miami-Dade's registered party vendor list. House Of Party Rentals is a registered vendor, and we handle the compliance side for you.
Can I bring a water slide? Plan on dry inflatables — county beach rules ban floating devices in swimming areas, and water equipment generally isn't permitted at Miami-Dade parks. Confirm with the park when you reserve; with the atoll pool right there, the dry combo is the winning setup anyway.
When is the atoll pool open? Sunrise to sunset, seven days a week. It's shallow and protected from the open bay, which makes it the calmest swimming spot in South Dade for little kids.
How does the bounce house get power? On our quieter inverter generator — that's how inflatables work at Miami-Dade parks. It's included in every park package and runs the blower, the concessions, and the music all party long.
What else is there to do? The atoll pool, the beach, the fishing pier, boat-watching at the marina, and lunch at La Playa Grill.

- Beat the heat: Snow Cone Machine — $75. Salt water plus snow cones is an unbeatable combination, and it runs off the same generator.
- Make it a theme: party decoration setups — from $350. We build the backdrop at your pavilion before guests arrive; with the bay behind it, the photos do the marketing for your next party.
- Park delivery — FREE on weekdays (we're based in Homestead); flat $100 on weekends, the standard Miami-Dade parks rate. Setup and pickup at your pavilion included either way.
